Pizza dough

Who loves pizza? I love pizza! Do you love pizza?!

I’m always on the search for the pizza dough. For me, I love thin crust pizzas with a nice crunchy base and nice chewy crust. Some of my friends don’t eat the crust and I’m like, “What?!” but then again, that gives me more to eat, so I’m happy.  Anyway, I came across this pizza dough recipe and just by the pictures, I knew I had to make it.

I also had loads of whole wheat flour left from making my BFF, R of Bliss in a Bite, some healthier versions of sweets so I decided to make whole wheat pizza dough and substituted most of the flour for whole wheat. For the toppings, I had canned diced tomatoes and mozzarella for the base, with one side topped with Spanish style Sardines (another thing I love!) and the other with mild cheddar and creamcheese.

I left the pizza on the oven (with the oven off) longer than what the recipe said because lunch wasn’t ready yet. But I’m somewhat glad I did because the bottom was deliciously crunchy.
