Hi and welcome to Baking Between Cities!
I’m Kat, currently 20 years old and I’m from the small city of Cebu, Philippines. I first started to learn about baking when I was 10 and attended a summer baking class with my friends. It was only until I graduated high school that I picked it up again and became addicted!
Now you might be wondering why I named this blog, Baking Between Cities; that’s because I’m currently studying abroad in Switzerland. Little update: I just graduated!
I also love photography especially food photography although, I do need practice especially when it comes to food styling and making my baked goods look pretty but I’ll get there! ;)

/ November 20, 2010Hey Kat,
Great blog you have here! I stumbled on it via NotCot’s Tasteologie (banana crumb muffins avec chocolat – miam!). What really drew me in is that I used to study in Lausanne! (Phew and I thought I was the only Filipino who liked the French language ;-)) What are you studying there? I hope you are enjoying yourself – I wish I could’ve stayed longer. In any case, I just wanted to pop in to show love for your blog! Bonne études et bon appétit!

You’re a Pinay too? That’s awesome! You don’t really get to see much Filipinos in the food blogosphere haha. I’m studying Hotel Management here in Suisse. And I agree, studying abroad is an awesome experience.. so many things you learn and people you meet ^^
Merci beaucoup pour votre commentaire! Bonne etudes et bon appetit aussi! :D
